Today is a terrible day, really a shamefull nightmare without end.
I have no words this morning to condem the action of the burmese government.
I do hope that international leaders this time will move their fat asses.

Venaria Reale
Venaria Reale is a former royal residence located in Venaria Reale, near Turin, in Piedmont, northern Italy.
It is one of the Residences of the Royal House of Savoy, included in the UNESCO Heritage List in 1997, and one of the largest royal residences in the world, comparable in size and structures to those of Versailles and Caserta.
Venaria Reale palace called also ‘La Reggia’ was designed and built from 1675 by Amedeo di Castellamonte, commissioned by duke Charles Emmanuel II, who needed a base for his hunting expeditions.
The name itself derives from Latin, “regia venatio”, meaning “royal hunt”.
During the Napoleonic domination, the whole complex were turned into barracks and the gardens destroyed to create a training ground.
Restoration works were begun, but most of the Reggia di Venaria Reale was open for tourism in 2007.

Turin’s long walks
I love to go for long walks along the historical center of Turin.
I try to get used to find special things in normal places that I see very day.
Art, at the end, is in the eyes of the photographer.
In this portfolio of Turin there is a miscellaneous collection of pictures and images taken during my walks testing and learning how to use my Canon 450D at its best.
We start from ‘Mt. dei Cappuccini’ where the view of Turin is magnificent and where is possible to admire the symbol of the city called ‘Mole Antoneliana’. It was built as a Hebraic Synagogue but today it hosts the ‘Museum of Cinema’.
Just below the hill it stands the Church ‘Gran Madre di Dio’ in Turin (Great Mother of God) one of most mysterious places in town, one of my favourite spots for a photo.
