Winter in Turin
Turin, December 2008, just before Christmas there was a huge snowfall and the entire city was covered by 50 cm of fresh white mantle.
It is not so common, we have to date back till ’80s to find another winter storm like that in Turin. So after few photos from my window I got my camera with me and jump outside to hunt some good image and pictures of the city.
Taking those pictures of Turin I got myself quite wet but had a lot of fun. There was many other photographers around taking images of the event. I shot photos in the main road in the center of Turin.
Do not get me wrong, we are used to have snow here every winter but not more then just few centimeters in Turin itself, obviously is a different thing if we talk about hills or mountanins in Alpine arch around always fully covered.
