Back to Ayutthaya
Ayutthaya is really near to Saraburi but with the bus it took ages to be there. I was amazed when I discovered that actually Saraburi is an old village and that not more then 200 years ago a common danger traveling was to be killed by a tiger. I was working in a factory 25 km. far from Ayutthaya so I spent more then 10 months in such a place.
I can tell that the most common danger now is to be killed by a truck whatever you drive it does not matter if you drive a motorbike like me or a car like my friends.

I rented in Saraburi a small apartment in a condo (the only condo available in town) just one room and the bathroom, pure 100% Thai style.
I was cooking for months my spaghetti in the room using the bathroom to wash my dishes, the good side it was a nice view over a lake.
When my contract was over I finally moved to Bangkok and definitely I did not cry.
During a weekend I was curious to take some nice photos and pictures in Ayutthaya with my Canon EOS 300 so I decided to visit once again the ancient capital Ayutthaya looking for the famous Buddha head surrounded by a holy fig tree.
- the images have been realized starting from original prints using a scanner HP, wait to load completely the page before click on the photos, be aware that it can take several seconds -
