Back in New York
I can not believe that I’m another time in New York, my first journey was in 1991 for a couple of weeks, now is 2010. Many things have happened since then, nineteen years are already gone. Probably the truth is that I can not believe or accept that this time passed.
During my main travel in Boston and New England, I definitely could not miss a short trip of three days in New York.
I got the opportunity to refresh my mind, to enjoy the journey in New York with my Asian girlfriend, spend a nice week end and visit ground zero: the symbol of this sad new era and new world that we are living daily.
Walking along Madison Avenue I obviously discovered that the old Irish Pub which gave to me and my friend some good Guinness beer nineteen years ago was gone, some small mobile phone shop is now there.
New York state is one of the leading destinations for international immigration and the second largest immigrant population in the country. New York is home to the largest African American population and the second largest Asian American population in the United States. In addition it is home to the largest Puerto Rican, Dominican and Jamaican American populations in the continental United States.
The photos as you can see are far better then the ones I did in 1991 but also this time the time was not enough, I just barely scratched the photographic potential of the big Apple.
Beside the time, as I said, I was not alone and this regretfully is a kind of limit: it is so nice travel with someone you love but when I use the camera I need to be alone, I must be alone and concentrate myself in what I’m doing.
I need to feel and to hunt the good shot.

I was there in a marvelous sunny and windy day and got the possibility to take some good photos with good visibility. Excavation of this New York famous site began on January 22, 1930, and construction on the building itself started symbolically on St.Patrick’s Day. The project involved 3,400 workers, mostly immigrants arrived in New [...]...
- First time in New York
After the college I visited New York in 1991 with one of my friend; we spent there a couple of weeks in a YWCA hostel in Manhattan. We do enjoy the city looking around, eating outlandish food, visiting museums, traveling in the all neighborhoods. At that time I still was into dinosaurs so the American [...]...
