Fallen Empires

Less than one month ago, August 6, 2011, the American empire was losing the historic triple AAA, the rating of USA economy, downgraded by the rating agencies created by USA itself.
Uncontrolled entities that pursue their one and only goal: profit.

They did not even advise and prevent the collapse of several USA banks in 2008 and the subsequent indebtedness of many states, they completely and deliberately ignored the signs and did not report the real financial banks situation.
Despite all this no measures have been taken to limit this financial system nightmare.

The capitalist system and its stronghold are crumbling.
Financial cancer is going on uncontrolled.
The empire is collapsed, and not even need an enemy for that, it is collapsed from the inside, collapsed under the weight of its liberal and uncontrolled laws.
For over fifty years America played to be the police of the world, living a much higher standard of living compared to the rest of the world, exploiting the situation to their own advantage and convenience, pursuing the idea that the free market fix everything and is the panacea for every system.

It is not so, and you know that, you can hear already all the creaks, the default of the system is now is becoming a reality, an unknown reality actually, but already real, present.

The same day, the anniversary of the August 6, 1945, the day that Hiroshima was destroyed, the day that thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of lives were extinguished or began their ordeal.
On this altar, the altar of the victory of World War II, was defined with the sacrifice the existence and legitimacy of this model which is now crumbling.

Curiously also in August, 19, 1991, twenty years go, the Soviet empire fell, which was held in check and equilibrium half the world for over fifty years.
Melted in a sea of states now largely ruled by mafias and local interests.
It was the collapse of an ideal, a development model that crashed because of the human self-interest and capitalism. Goods and trade have always knock down every wall.

This leaves the question, perhaps the ultimate question, what to do now?
Where to go after the collapse of communism, socialism, capitalism?
What will grab the man, this time, naked and bare, to make sense of things and to try to suggest a way to plan a future.

It is obvious and only the blind do not see that the development considered and intended only as economic development cannot and is not going anywhere.
If every human activity is classified, restrained, designed, permitted only as a goal of income and profit, clearly we have no future worthy of such a name.

Every day come to attention problems of an economic system based on debt, every day the world production of goods and food are increasing but the middle class is becoming poorer, unemployment rises.
The poor are more and more, if they do not die first as a famine like in Somalia.
The financial collapse and a one week is not.
It is true we are seven billion now, too many, far too many, and a controlled decreasing of the population and a falling of birth rates must be a priority.

At the same time, it must be said that resources are sufficient for all, if carefully managed and distributed, this is the bottleneck, the source of all problems since the beginning.
Mother earth has everything for everyone but not for the selfishness of a few of us.
Today, empires collapse, but not as in the past, not anymore with invasions, wars, famines, epidemics. They do it quietly, dissolving, diluting, they just transforming.
We do not know well but I think I see an horrible ghost.

The only model paradoxically successful, at least at this moment, seems to be the Chinese one.
A model with no freedom, individualism, democracy.
A model that, despite the policy of one child per person, is still not able to limit the birth rate and that is exploding outward in search of primary and essential raw materials and resources.
A model of a sad humanity who does not live, but only works that survive from day to day living sad lives in barracks where to sleep and sad barracks where to work.
A pale humanity who does not smile.

Will collapse too, like other empires before, and will be the last collapse because even when a model like that one fails there is no others.

How do I say that will collapse? Because his roots at the end, have become the same as the other capitalistic models, in a globalized world and in the present network of interdependencies the collapse of Chinese capitalism masked as socialism will be an inevitable dominoes.

There are alternatives, and I’m never tired of repeating it, and alternatives are within us, but we must be worthy of it before.
A model not anymore based on profit and more money is the only conceivable in the long term, but until now our pettiness and selfishness did not allow us to get there.

Call me crazy, I do not care, if we will get there I was right, if not the road is closed, and the Chinese collapse is the next stage.
