Something about me

I was born in Turin in 1971, quite a big town in north Italy, really cold in winter and really hot in summer. I’m really proud of my heritage, my country, my own culture. Because of that I really hate the present unbearable political and social situation in Italy that is destroying my wonderful country.
I got a degree in Geology when I was 26 years old but regretfully now is not my job. I have discovered quite soon in my life that nothing make me so excited and happy like start a new trip, prepare a backpack, check a map, buy a new ticket.
I love discovering places, meeting new people and new cultures; this is what make a life worth to be lived in my opinion.
The camera is ready, passport and Visa inside my pocket, take the last step…
Are you asking yourself who am I?
I can tell you that I love to grow orchids, listen Pink Floyd’s music, the Guinness beer, the novels by Kundera, red Italian vines, the movie 2001 a Space Odyssey, the Russian salad (the good one), Bach’s concerts for harpsichord and strings, the movie Blade Runner, a slice of “castelmagno” cheese with honey on top, the film director Stanley Kubrick, the “pesto” sauce that I can prepare for my spaghetti, the movie Taxi Driver, boiled chicken with yogurt sauce and saffron, the tales by Tolkien, spinach cakes, the “tortellini” pasta filled with pumpkin and “parmigiano” cheese, the movie Gattaca, Beethoven’s symphonies, Led Zeppelin’s rock.
I love also herbal Tea, the movie Pulp Fiction, the books written by Tiziano Terzani during his remarkable life in Asia, boiled squid’s salad, the sea bass oven backed, Prodigy’s music, Tequila, the film director David Cronenberg, the movie Matrix, and a good slice of bread with salami.
What I hate?
Italian football, idiot TV, weddings lunches, injustice, hypocrisy, ignorance, superficiality, materialism, little men that change their mind because opportunism, cigars, cars in general especially SUVs.
I returned in Italy after 5 years of life in Southeast Asia that have changed my life forever.
Now I work as a freelance webmaster and photographer, so if you are interested regarding any kind of web project feel free to send me an email and contact me.
