Roero’s awakening
Today Roero is a recognized wine-making area of Piedmont along with its neighbors Langhe and Monferrato; but Roero region is also known for its fruits production.
Therefore during springtime the landscape dominated by orchards changes really rapidly starting from amazing blossom and flowers of all kinds of fruit trees: pears, peaches, apples, apricot, and plums.

Winter in Turin
Turin, December 2008, just before Christmas there was a huge snowfall and the entire city was covered by 50 cm of fresh white mantle.
It is not so common, we have to date back till ’80s to find another winter storm like that in Turin. So after few photos from my window I got my camera with me and jump outside to hunt some good image and pictures of the city.

Turin’s water and light pictures
There are three main rivers in Turin, and I love walking and take photos along the main one, the river Po.
Fortunately the bank are not so far from my house and that is a good excuse to cross the historical center In this portfolio there is a main core related to the river banks photos and others miscellaneous images of Turin during 2009 flooding.

Roero’s windows and lands
Roero and Langhe’s vineyards from these parts are the most valuable can be, the wines typical of this part of Piedmont are stunning and the castles seems imposing from outside, but reveal grace and taste to the inside.
Cavour Castle in the first serie of images stands in one of the most spectacular landscape.
Dating back to the first half of the eleventh century, can be admired in all its original beauty.
