Turin’s first shots

Turin used to be a major European political center, being Italy’s first capital and home to Italy’s royal family. Today Turin is a business and cultural centre in northern Italy located on the left bank of the Po River surrounded by the Alpine arch picture.
I was born, raised and lived in Turin for more then 30 years, my family is from here and I can dated back my ancestors to 1300 A.D.
This is the first page with the first portfolio and the first images of Turin I shot when I bought my first SLR and started to be serious in photography using a Canon EOS 300.

Many will follow as Turin images and photos will be subject of my extensive investigation in photography and art.
I was amazed discovering how many nice and wonderful places for shot a photo there are in Turin, the city boasts a rich culture and history, and is known for its numerous art galleries, restaurants, churches, palaces, opera houses, piazzas, parks, gardens, theaters, libraries, museums and other venues. Pictures in Turin can be endless.
Turin is well known for its baroque, rococo and neo-classical architecture, city’s public squares, castles, gardens and elegant palazzi.
Regretfully I never felt myself completely comfortable and in the right place here because generally people are quite cold and not so welcoming. My soul, starting from 2000, was already in Asia.
