Roero’s windows and lands
Roero and Langhe’s vineyards from these parts are the most valuable can be, the wines typical of this part of Piedmont are stunning and the castles seems imposing from outside, but reveal grace and taste to the inside.
Cavour Castle in the first serie of images stands in one of the most spectacular landscape.
Dating back to the first half of the eleventh century, can be admired in all its original beauty.

Serralunga Castle in the last images was built in thirteenth century, its thick walls and specially designed stairs, towers, floors and windows have been built with the sole intention of protecting its dwellers.
Starting from “La Morra” and the isolated tree on that hill, with a friend of mine, we spent the day going around visiting and shooting castles, just few, but there are so many in Roero.
The photos are quite good as the weather and the light for the pictures was amazing.
Roero is a geographical area in the north-east corner of the province of Cuneo in Piedmont, north-west Italy. The territory lies to the north of Alba.
