I can not believe that I’m another time in New York, my first journey was in 1991 for a couple of weeks, now is 2010. Many things have happened since then, nineteen years are already gone. I was there in a marvelous sunny and windy day and got the possibility to take some good photos with good visibility. Excavation of this New York famous site began on January 22, 1930, and construction on the building itself started symbolically on St.Patrick’s Day. The project involved 3,400 workers, mostly immigrants arrived in New York from Europe, along with hundreds of Mohawk iron workers, many from the Kahnawake reserve near Montreal. According to official accounts, five workers died during the construction.
