Milorad Cakardic was born in 1966 in Osijek, Republic of Croatia. After finishing High School of Photography in his hometown and practical training by photographer Nikola Szege, he passed a masterful examination for independent practice of photographic activity. By Informatics school IVORA in Osijek, he acquired the title Graphic and Web designer. On the IVAS (International Visual Art Society) Academy in Belgrade, under the guidance of Professor Nikola Radosevic, he gained the occupation of Photojournalist and was accepted in it's membership. He is a member of USUF (Association of Self-Governing Artists of Photography, Republic of Serbia) and a member of FEP (Federation of European Photographers, Brussels, Belgium).
Photographs presents author's opinion about the world that surrounds him and in which he found himself, the beauty of nature and architecture, but along with that they also show the less beautiful side of reality. Today, he participates in the great number of international exhibitions of photography (in Australia, Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, Serbia, France, Croatia and Greece). He works also as a graphic and web-designer. He has several solo photo exhibitions. Since 1991 he lives and works in the Netherlands. |
